The new Star Trek film is moving closer to release(May 8, 2009). I have been a fan since the very beginning. I remember looking through the TV section of the paper one week and seeing a shot of Kirk transporting, thinking that looks interesting. I was there in front of that flickering screen the night the very first episode(The Man Trap) aired. I know I didn’t see them all first run though. I mean I was sixteen and there were OTHER things to do at that age. But I’ve seen them all many times since then.
I don’t know what the fan base thinks of this new look, as I’m not that obsessed by it, but I’m willing to give it a shot. Here is an interesting article, with accompanying pictures.

I also watched TOS but JJ Abrhams has ruined it by making the bridge look like a hospital. The movie probably will draw about as many people as “Enterprise”
