I stumbled across this band and I like the sound, a sort of theatrical rock combining elements of metal, pop, and a sort of rock opera feel. Not always a bad thing. The band name is a portmanteau of the words avalon and fantasia. Front man Tobias Sammet explains it all in the first clip. I include the second because Klaus Meine, of Scorpions fame, joins them and reminds me of that long ago youth.
I need to check out more of this band.
