Another bad weekend for my three favorite teams.
I didn’t expect much from the Panthers and they delivered, going down 31-10. Don’t remember much of the game as my attention kept getting diverted by more interesting things. I know there were a lot of turnovers and not much defense.
The ‘Skins game wasn’t carried in this area. I know they led most of the way, 10-9, only to fall near the end to a TD and a two point conversion. They came back, driving all the way to a TD, then mishandling the snap for point after, falling 17-16.
The Jets trailed all of the way. We weren’t getting the game, though they finally switched from New England’s butt whipping of the Bears early in the second half. What I witnessed wasn’t very inspiring. In spite of Rex Ryan’s posturing, the offense looks pretty lame and the defense played better this week(not hard after the pasting the Patriots gave them last week. It wasn’t enough though, losing to the Dolphins 10-6.
Pathetic.
The Jets were my big hope this year, but it appears they’re doing their usual early season tease, then fading down the stretch.
Sigh.
