1: Top Suspense: 13 Classic Stories Fro 12 Masters of the Genre(e-book) – The title says it all. A good set of crime tales from the Top Suspense group. Some heavy hitters in here.

2: Mother Finds A Body – Gypsy Rose Lee: the second novel to feature the famous strip tease dancer as the amateur detective. From 1943, it was the second novel written(?) by the dancer/actress.

3: An Eye For An Eye – Leigh Brackett: the famous author who could write in any genre, though best known I guess for her SF/Fantasy.This is a suspense novel from The Crime Club(my edition). This one recommended by Jerry House.

Duke slid into the Sweet Sixteen by the slimmest of margins, defeating Michigan 73-71. The Blue Devils’ propensity for spreading the offensive when they have a lead near the end of a game let them down this time. Their attack mode had kept the Wolverines off-balance most of the game. Duke’s let-up allowed the opponent to whittle that ten points down to one. I’ve seen too many teams loose a game trying to milk the clock and it came close to happening this time.

Whew!
