On the morning of May 9, 2008, I cut my computer on to indulge in what had become a daily habit, checking out my favorite blogs. That was the only thing on my mind at the time until I came to Richard Wheeler’s blog. I got a message that the blog had been shut down by the author(he’s since started another and stopped that one also). Alongside that was the legend: START YOUR OWN FREE BLOG.
Thus was born NOT THE BASEBALL PITCHER on a whim. Today it is four years old. For good or bad, I’ve been doing this longer than I ever imagined or had any such thoughts before that morning. Not even a notion before that moment. I swear.
I’ve had a great time, made some friends, and hope to continue doing it for a good bit more.
I’ve included this wonderful clip I came across for your enjoyment. Hit the full screen button for the best view.
Happy birthday to the blog! I hope it has many more.
Four years of your blog are not enough, Randy; I’m looking forward to many more.
Great clip, btw.
Still going strong!
I’m glad you did, man. I’ve enjoyed visiting here and having you visit my blog, and trading thoughts back and forth on reading.
Inspiring stuff Randy – my sincerest congratulations.
Sergio
Rock on, Randy. Thanks for all your words!
Congratulations, Randy! Yours is a daily stop for me, and I’m never disappointed.
