I saw Queen a couple of years before Freddie Mercury began to suffer from AIDS related illnesses that led to his death. We had great seats near the stage. They had wings going out from each side where Mercury and Brian May would go during some songs. We would be about twenty feet from them, slightly below, and one could see May’s fingerwork on his guitar quite well.
It was a great concert.
