The spam attacks are back. I had thought I might be rid of this crap. Oh, the odd one would pop up occasionally, but often I would turn on the computer and have none. Been going on for a bit now.
Unfortunately they have started to build again. In the last couple of weeks, it’s rare not to have a minimum of three or four in the queue when I log onto the blog. Often more. I’ve even had them come while I was working. When I opened the blog just now, there were twelve waiting foe me. And I was just on a couple of hours ago and flushed the half dozen into oblivion then.
It’s just never ending I guess.
update: I just logged onto the blog, 9:00 pm, and have nineteen in the queue. A little earlier this afternoon, I had sixteen. It’s getting worse.
I wonder why you get more than I do. Might be you’re doing something right as far as attracting new viewers. Sorry about the spam crap though.
We are lucky to be on a university email system that gets most of these for us.
Really annoying Randy – their value must be so marginal and yet clearly that must be enough (to somebody) – grrr!
Now that you’ve pointed it out to me, I really have started noticing just how much spam I am getting on WordPress – I think I’ve had maybe 15 or 20 today – I think something is definitely up!
