This is a band I always thought took the wrong marketing approach. They were presented as a glam rock/metal band when in reality they were a VERY good metal band. I don’t know whether that was the band’s idea or management, the record company, or advisers. They slid right into that with the poofy hair, spandex, the screaming girls.
Along with Ratt, they were the best of those bands in that sub-genre of metal. They’re still around today, but not nearly as big as they could have been. In my opinion anyway.
