Africa Zero – Neal Asher: much of humanity has left Earth. Those left survive mostly in Africa amidst such as the Great African Vampire and the Collector, an ancient cyborg who preserves the genetic heritage of the human race, even at the cost of human lives.
Phase Four(ebook) – Gary Carson: a free thriller that sounded interesting. On a remote highway in Nevada, a convoy carrying nerve gas set for incineration is hijacked by terrorists, setting off Homeland Security and investigator Matthew Drake.
Split Decision(ebook) – Jack Tunney: third volume in the Fight Card series, this one by Eric beetner. Set in the fifties, a boxer is caught with a rough decision to make in an upcoming fight. I liked this one.
Blind Traveler’s Blues(ebook)(review copy) – Robert P. Bennett: second book in the Douglas Abledan series, a blind man in a future world falling apart. I’m in the middle of this one now.
The Sharpshooter – Ed Gorman: a western by the master. Need anything else be said. It was good.
Tama, Princess of Mercury – Ray Cummings: the second volume in the 1930s sword and planet adventure. I’m enjoying the first one.
