I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on this.
Last night, my namesake notched his 300th career win in a rain soaked game that was his second attempt(the previous night’s game was rained out). Johnson pitched six innings, giving up two hits and an unearned run, with two walks and two strikeouts.
He is the oldest pitcher, at nearly forty-six, to accomplish that feat and at six feet, ten inches, probably the tallest.
Again, congratulations. to the twenty-fourth member of the 300 club!
