Richard, I hope so. The Thor of legend was not quite like the Marvel one. I hope the movie is wrapped in all the charm of the comic, goofy horns and all.
I’ll eventually see it, Joachim. My health precludes me attending the theater. Wheel chair bound as I am, I need help and it’s a lot of trouble getting me there. I just wait for either DVD or pay-per-view.
It’s been a good many years since I saw the first TRON, but I remember liking it much more than the other Disney SF film of the era, THE BLACK HOLE. After viewing that one, friends and I agreed all copies of it should be dumped in the nearest black hole.

Looks good to me! I’m pretty sure Loki even gets to wear those goofy horns at some point.

I have good hopes for this one, too, Randy, but I’m willing to bet good money that some reviewer will write, “Thor? It was down-right painful!”

Talk about painful, Jerry!

I’ll probably see it, although I’m about full of superhero movies. I always did like Thor and the connection with heroic fantasy though.
