Two out of three. Better than I’d hoped.
The Jets was the easy pick. A win over the Bills was a no brainer. 38-14. The game wasn’t carried in my area, so I don’t know the particulars. We’ll take it though.
One has to feel Donovan McNabb feels a sense of vindication right now. He was unceremoniously ushered out of town by the Eagles, traded to a division rival. Which, as everyone has been saying, says they believe he was done. And his replacement was replaced as well. The ‘Skins got their running game going and, after Vick was hurt, the Eagles never seemed much of a threat.
The Saints seemed to be doing everything they could to give the Panthers their first win. Two fumbles, one costing a possible six points and a sure three, another costing three, dropped passes. It mattered not as the team I thought would win finally did. An ugly win is just as good. You take them as they come.
